Throughout this unprecedented period companies have had to develop new rules to keep employees safe and change the way we work.
For the health and safety of their employees, Elgeti Engineering GmbH have a number of measures in place to minimise contact.
Employees have been assigned to small groups that occupy separate spaces in the office.
The group members take turns alternating between working from home two days per week and three days at the office, either from Mondays to Wednesdays or Thursdays to Saturdays.
This results in only 50% of people being present at the office which, together with conversion of meeting rooms to offices which has allowed each colleague to have an individual office room.
Additionally, most meetings are also held virtually, however in-person interactions with FFP2-masks are allowed when absolutely necessary.
Masks are also mandatory when working together in the testing area which is normally not necessary as our fully automated test rigs run without personnel unless a new test run is being set up.
Taken together, these measures ensure that transmission of viruses in the workplace is close to impossible.
Elgeti Engineering have massive praise for their entire team for their continuous understanding, discipline and flexibility!
