The simatherm IH 210F heats the flange of a road rollerAn international construction equipment manufacturer trusts in simatherm heating devices
Applications of simatherm in the construction machinery industry
- Bearing housing
- Rolling bearings
Advantages of simatherm heaters:
- Precise, even, quick heating
- There is no risk of damage (from excessive mechanical stress, open flames, dirty oil baths, excessively hot ovens and plates)
- Automatic demagnetisation
- Increased operational safety
- Selectable power reduction for heating up smaller parts
The branch in India uses simatherm induction heaters for the heating of flanges.
In the assembly plant in India, road rollers are assembled for the Indian market. Each of these road rollers has two flanges on the rear axle. The flanges are heated to 110°C to enable quick and smooth installation of the ball bearings in the flange housing. For economic reasons, the heating time per flange must not exceed ten minutes. Only then can the daily target of 48 rollers be achieved.
Simatherm IH 210F in continuous operation
The simatec distribution partner in India, Nitex Enterprise, has visited the construction machine manufacturer and demonstrated the simatherm IH 210F, with a fan for continuous operation, on site. The performance, the speed and the cost/benefit calculation won over the employees of the company. The customer decided to keep the demonstration unit and put it to use immediately.
Powerful „swiss made“ simatherm devices
The assembly manager is extremely impressed by the simatherm heaters. To further increase assembly productivity, he bought a second simatherm device a few weeks later. „Due to the excellent performance and reliable operation of simatherm heaters, we are now warming up the flanges in less than ten minutes. That›s why we decided to buy another simatherm IH 210F.“
