Atlanta Review

We hope you have all returned safely from Atlanta and are recovering from a hectic few days…
We thought the 2014 USA User Meeting was a great success (everyone got on well and there were no fights (…well, maybe one…) We had 30 more delegates than in Chicago which shows there is definitely the potential to grow the meeting, plus, if the next meeting is somewhere hot and sunny with a pool and maybe a beach who knows how many people will come?!

On a serious note we would like to say a big thank you and well done for all your efforts and hard work. We spend our time getting everyone in the same place but it is you guys that make the meeting such a success. We hope you all had a great time and got to meet many of the companies that attended.
This year we added an extra half day of networking, but from speaking with many delegates you still didn’t have time to meet with everyone you wanted to – you will just have to make up for this by coming to our next meeting!!

It is always a pleasure for us to meet so many of our members in person (rather than Nicola just constantly emailing you all!!), but for you it is these connections which will help to create and secure business for the future. We were pleased to see how busy the room was on Saturday and the footage of our video (look left) proves that lots of meetings really did happen!

We were particularly pleased with the Hyatt Regency – the meeting space, food and bar area were all perfect for us, this paired with 154 BearingNet members all made for an excellent User Meeting!

We have received some great feedback so far and if you have anything to add please email nicolab@bearingnet.net we would like to use positive comments as testimonials for the meetings.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to the sponsors of the event, for all their hard work and great contribution to making the meeting a success.

We are already busy planning our next European meeting in Riga Latvia on the 9-11 October 2014, we currently have 165 Delegates registered and anticipate over 400 delegates to join us in Riga…
This time we will have…

Over 400 bearing distributors from over 30 countries
A location that will draw in lots of new companies
HUGE meeting space
A great venue with a sports bar, casino, night club, skyline bar and Spa
A choice of 3 Radisson hotels for you to stay in. Choose from modern, classic or lively
Why Riga?

Riga, the capital of Latvia is ideally situated in the centre of the Baltic States. The meeting will attract many new companies from Scandinavia, and Northern Europe so as well as seeing old friends the meeting will be full of excellent new business opportunities!

USA Today writes “Riga, the capital of Latvia and the 2014 European Capital of Culture, is only beginning to get the attention it deserves. The “Gem of the Baltics” combines a pulsating big city vibe with a UNESCO-listed Old Town and one of Europe’s richest cultural scenes. Architecture buffs will recognize Riga as home to Europe’s largest collection of Art Nouveau buildings.”

Riga is also the Capital of culture 2014 so what better time to plan a trip to the Baltics…

Great city, great meeting…see you there!!

Very best regards, The BearingNet Team.
